About Hypnosis


Our hypnosis sessions will guide you to your personal goals and EMPOWER you to find purpose in your life, love and success. The initial hypnosis session at Tina Pineiro Life Solutions is up to two hours and the fee is $250. Subsequent hypnosis sessions are up to one hour in length and the fee is $125. You can certainly book two hours at the same time, if you desire.

Hypnosis is a natural state of selective, focused attention and is 100% natural and normal. Our ability to enter this unique state of consciousness opens the door to countless possibilities for healing, self-exploration and change. Called by different names in different cultures and times, hypnosis has been recognized for thousands of years and used for many purposes.

When we enter into the state of hypnosis, we can use our thoughts, talents and experiences in ways not usually available to us. With the help of a professional, we can develop innate, individual abilities that enable making desired changes in our thoughts, feelings and habits possible. The focused state of hypnosis allows changes to intentionally be made automatically, changes that we could not ordinarily consciously make. The healing modality of hypnosis has been used in the treatment of pain, depression, anxiety, stress, habit disorders, and many other issues.

Is hypnosis used with children?  Yes!  Children have a great imagination and are in a state of hypnosis most of the time.  We live in a stressful world and sometimes stress can have a very negative impact on your child. Hypnosis helps them deal with the stress.

There are many issues children respond well to such as:  Self-confidence, self-esteem, nail biting, thumb sucking, fear of the dark, doctors, dentists, needles, tests, eating too much sugar or snack foods, food choices, shyness, new school, study skills, learning and memory, sleep issues and more. Showing your children there can be a natural resolution to their life challenges can be quite empowering for them. They easily apply what they learn to other challenges they encounter.

You might be surprised to find out that hypnosis is a natural state of mind experienced as trance. Hypnosis can be induced through the interaction of one individual speaking to another (hypnotist to client), or to an entire group as (group hypnosis); we can also learn to self-induce trance as in self-hypnosis.

Hypnosis can bring about major change in motivation, self-confidence, relaxation, physical discomfort, creativity, habit control, and many other problems or difficulty in achieving goals. Yet few procedures are less understood, or more plagued by misunderstandings.

Long associated with the strange and mysterious, hypnosis is neither. The truth is, you drift in and out of the hypnotic or trance state, on a daily basis. It goes unnoticed because it seems so natural and normal. And that, is exactly what hypnosis is, one of the natural states of mind that all human beings experience.

How Does Hypnosis Work?

It works by updating the subconscious mind with new and more helpful information, like reprogramming a computer. It can be used to change associations, so that cigarettes, for instance, are no longer seen as “friends”, and are more realistically regarded as a “toxic habit”. It can also be used to mentally rehearse better ways of going about things, such as being able to deal with stressful situations without having to light up. What is a Trance?

A trance is a natural state occurring whenever your attention is narrowly focused and relatively free of distractions. Your attention may be focused either internally (on self-talk, daydreaming, meditation, etc.) or externally (on a task, reading, a movie, engaged in an art form, intently listening to a speaker, etc.). Attention is narrowly focused so that other environmental stimuli are ignored for a period of time. 

The Hypnosis Session

The initial hypnosis session is two hours in length. You learn about hypnosis and how it is used. You experience hypnosis, follow-up to our session and get a reinforcement recording.

The subsequent sessions are usually one hour in length. At the subsequent session, we discuss progress made and obstacles to success. Then you experience hypnosis. Reinforcement recordings are only provided is necessary. Longer sessions, if you request, will be $125 per hour.
