Ho’oponopono

Ho’oponopono (pronounced HO-oh-Po-no-Po-no) means “to make things right”. What if we all thought in those terms? Instead of living with and ruminating in negative emotions, what if we took responsibility for our part and made our part right? And what if everyone took personal responsibility and sought to make their part “right?” Just think about that.

And how much does my attachment to old negativity, sometimes passed through generations, have an impact on everyone?

Ho‘o means “to make” and pono means “right”. The second “pono” indicates the need to make things right both with oneself and others. Another interpretation of the words is “to cause things to move back into balance.” Those who say the prayer believe it creates a clean slate, makes way for reconciliation, and restores inner peace.

The basic foundation for all areas of pursuit such as healing the body, mind, or soul is to strive towards a conflict-free life, clearing the path or relationship of any imbalances created or unwanted burdens or problems accumulated. Ho’oponopono has been used effectively for many generations in Hawaii.

Ho’oponopono is the practice of attracting peace, harmony, balance, wisdom, and love into your life and ultimately the community, society, the world, and the universe. Meditation and ceremony are the keys to ho’oponopono because they can increase and refine the receptivity of the Divine consciousness within all things to obtain and maintain these qualities.

What can it bring to you? The Ho’oponopono Prayer is a release of resentments, fears, upsets, anger, regrets…. of all negative vibrations that are being held in the subconscious and disturb your peace.

A typical session is one-hour in length.
